The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine today released a new report on “Open Science By Design: Realizing a Vision for 21st Century Research”, which introduces a framework of “open science by design” that aims to foster openness - on publications, data, methodologies, algorithms, and code - from end to end in the research process. This report was produced by the National Academies Committee on Toward an Open Science Enterprise, of which Heng Xu, co-director of the Robust Analytics Lab, is a member.
