“Reducing Subgroup Differences in Personnel Selection through the Application of Machine Learning”, a paper co-authored by Nan Zhang, Heng Xu, and 11 other co-authors, received the 2025 Best Paper Award from Personnel Psychology.

The same paper also received the 2025 Jeanneret Award for Excellence in the Study of Individual or Group Assessment from the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
